Run a real query. Branch it instantly.

This page talks directly to our production API — the same routes the console and CLI use — against one shared demo project. Every number on this page is a live answer, not a recording. Rate-limited so it stays fair for everyone.

Run a real query

Live Postgres
select id, label, created_at from demo_items order by id

Runs the same read-only SQL runner the console's SQL editor uses, scoped to one shared demo table.

Create an instant branch

Copy-on-write

Forks a real environment from the table above, writes one row only the branch can see, then deletes the branch again.

What this actually does

  • Run a real query calls POST /v1/demo/query, the same read-only SQL runner (SELECT/WITH/EXPLAIN only, inside a bounded read-only transaction) behind the console's SQL editor, scoped to one shared demo table.
  • Create an instant branch calls POST /v1/demo/branch, which provisions a real copy-on-write Postgres environment forked from that same table, writes one row only the branch can see, reads the branch's and the parent's row counts back, and deletes the branch again before answering — nothing a click creates outlives the request that created it.
  • Both routes are hard rate-limited per visitor and platform-wide, independent of sign-in.
